The Kentucky Equality Federation Alliance (the word alliance being the other organizations that are part of the Federation) has Ambassadors of Goodwill around the World. Being an Ambassador of Goodwill is a distinction reserved for the most noble, or the most honorable people.
Ambassadors of Goodwill embrace and exhibit the core principals our Union, and indeed, the Commonwealth of Kentucky are founded on: social diversity, tolerance, liberty, justice, and equality for all.
At Kentucky Equality Federation and the Federation Alliance, Goodwill Ambassadors agree to help focus local, state, national, or worldwide attention on the work of the Kentucky Equality Federation, backed by the highest honor it bestows.
These prominent personalities volunteer their time, talent and passion to raise awareness of the Kentucky Equality Federation’s efforts and programs to improve their lives and act as their public advocate.

About our Ambassadors of Goodwill
Ambassador of Goodwill members are appointed by the Secretary-General on the advice of the Office of the President, the managing director of an Federation Alliance member, or the Federation’s Chairman of the Board.
- Though generally appointed for life, Ambassadors of Goodwill serve at the pleasure of the Board and the Office of the Secretary-General. Ambassadors may be removed from office should their nobility be found questionable by act or deed in the opinion of the Federation’s Board of Directors or the Office of the Secretary-General.
Ambassadors of Goodwill have been an official (or unofficial) part of government and non-government organizations (NGO) and cultures for as long as diplomacy has existed. Kentucky Equality Federation’s Ambassadors of Goodwill advocate for equality not only for the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgendered, and intersex community, but equality for all people, especially minority groups and those in need.
Other Ambassadors of Goodwill Abroad
A wide range of organizations have goodwill ambassadors to promote their programs and reach out to others with programs that are based on good relations, from local, state, national, and multinational NGO’s (non-government organizations). Each are welcome and encouraged to contact our Ambassadors of Goodwill, the Office of the President, or the Secretary-General.
